Transition to Tertiary Partners

As of 2021, SIGNAL’s programmes have been integrated into its partner institutions: the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin, and Lincoln University, the University of Canterbury, and Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch. These partners continue to carry forward SIGNAL’s legacy, offering customised pathways to help you achieve your career goals.

Studio-Based Tech Training

SIGNAL shifted away from traditional lectures, focusing instead on studio-based projects, seminars, and industry placements. Programmes are offered in Christchurch and Dunedin, located close to the tech industry.

Tech Training for Everyone

Whether you’re transitioning from a non-tech background, teaching tech in schools, or advancing your current tech career, SIGNAL’s programmes are designed for all aspiring and current tech professionals.

Teaching the Right Industry Skills

SIGNAL recognised the importance of both technical and soft skills. The programmes cover technology, processes, and people management, ensuring graduates are equipped to thrive in New Zealand’s growing tech industry.

Building Partnerships

SIGNAL’s partner institutions are ready to collaborate with you and your organisation to help nurture the next generation of tech professionals. For more information, contact the University of Otago, Lincoln University, or Ara Institute of Canterbury.
