It is no secret that SHIFT offers a viable one year pathway into a tech career, and there are still places available at both sites for the 2019 cohort.
SIGNAL also offers several partial fees scholarships for SHIFT intakes in both Christchurch and Dunedin, each worth $2500.
How do I apply?
The application process is very simple and completed online.
Please visit our scholarship application page. You will be required to upload a copy of your academic transcript so make sure you have an electronic copy - a scan, image file such as a jpeg photo, or pdf are all acceptable formats.
You'll also be asked to complete one short answer statement. "Please describe why you wish to study on the Shift programme."
You have a maximum of 300 words to complete your answer. Be concise, and include a range of reasons why you have chosen to enrol, and what benefits might arise from your involvement in the programme to you personally, and your wider circle of influence.
It is recommended that applicants read the SHIFT scholarship regulations before applying.
The closing date for applications is 22 February 2019, and we aim to notify applicants of the outcome of their application by 8 March.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have questions about the scholarship or application process.
