Get involved in Techweek'19 running May 20 - 26

Sunday January 27, 2019

From the NZ Techweek website:

"The 2018 Techweek NZ festival included over 540 events running across the country. 2019 will be the third iteration of the nationwide festival.

The intention behind Techweek is simple. New Zealand’s technology and innovation sectors are growing rapidly, and Techweek fosters that growth by providing the national ecosystem with a week-long opportunity for connection and cross-pollination, using an independent platform to amplify New Zealand’s unique and inspiring innovation stories to the world.

In the years to come, Techweek’s vision is for New Zealand to be globally recognised as a beautiful country where world-leading solutions are born. It’s not just about showcasing leading edge technology, but amplifying brilliant ideas that are solving the biggest global challenges – innovation that’s good for the world.

The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) is back this year as our principal partner. MBIE’s goal is to grow New Zealand for all – a great fit with Techweek’s ‘innovation that's good for the world’ theme.

Would you like to get involved with Techweek19? Please sign up to our Techweek newsletter and we'll be in touch when submissions open."

If you or your organisation has some ideas for Techweek events,  you can pop them into the Techweek Discovery Forum for your area.   The Dunedin Techweek Coordinator for 2019 is Lauren Saker, who would love to hear your event ideas.  Drop her a line at dunedin@techweek.co.nz, or use the Discovery Forum link above.

Get involved and promote your local tech scene!
