Assessing aerial drone footage of coastal erosion ...
Adding features to an online educational platform ...
Upgrading a staff location app ...
Porting and re-architecting an information system with web technologies ...
... will all be keeping Dunedin Shift students busy as they complete their projects embedded with industry this semester. The Shift students are looking forward to the challenge of combining their previous degree and work experience with the tech skills and methods they have mastered so far.
SIGNAL Director, Dr Stuart Charters, says "It is invaluable for the students to work alongside industry professionals to apply and build on the skills they have learnt in studio. This will greatly boost the capability and employability of Shift students. We look forward to seeing the results of the projects in the industry showcase later this year."
A huge thanks to our industry partners who are hosting and mentoring the Shift students this semester - AbacusBio, MTF, Stantec NZ Ltd and The Tarn Group.
