Full SIGNAL team now in place.

Operations and Engagement Co-ordinators, Fiona Scott in Christchurch and Kylie Jackson in Dunedin, joined the SIGNAL team this month. They will be leading engagement with businesses and institutions, now that SIGNAL's four programmes are underway, with more offerings in the pipeline.

Fiona Scott, who will be based at SIGNAL's 181 High St studio, has plenty of experience in the industry, having been a secondary teacher for eight years before leading the Lincoln University Outreach team.

"It's terrific to be on board with SIGNAL - such a new and exciting venture, working with IT professionals, students, academics and the local business community. I'm loving the location too - the Innovation Precinct has so much going on."

Kylie Jackson in Dunedin will take up her new job on May 9th, and comes with an industry-focussed background. Having led the advertising teams at The Otago Daily Times and The Star in Dunedin for the last five years,  Kylie is looking forward to connecting the dots for those businesses looking to future-proof themselves with SIGNAL's professional development programmes.

I am really looking forward to helping local industry develop their IT staff and internal capabilities, to develop both their own business and the South Island IT industry. "
