Canterbury Tech Summit 2019

Tuesday October 1, 2019

The annual event hosted at Christchurch Airforce Museum was a fantastic opportunity for the South Island tech industry to grow, connect and be inspired.

The summit covered strategic trends and technologies that are driving digital transformation and shaping the future of IT and business.

Janelle Gee from the SIGNAL team shares our SHIFT and XTEND programmes at Canterbury Tech Summit 2019

Workshops focused on everything from Big Data, IoT, Diversity, Cybersecurity, business growth and development. Between events there was a pulsing hub of energy created by the many exhibitor's stands, and it was great to catch up with several SIGNAL graduates who are now working in tech roles in  Christchurch.

A special mention goes to thought leaders Stephen Scheeler former Facebook CEO Australia & NZ, and Nigel Latta NZ psychologist for this year's inspiring and entertaining presentations.
