ATTN TEACHERS: Educate 2019 Scholarships open for applications!

Thursday October 18, 2018

As part of the innovative Educate programme, where teachers can upskill whilst still teaching, SIGNAL is offering up to 30 scholarships for 2019 study in part-time paper EDEM626 Curriculum Implementation in Computer Science at the University of Canterbury

The scholarships are each worth $1000 and can be allocated towards course fees or paid to the recipient towards course related costs.

Applications will be assessed by the Educate team in conjunction with the SIGNAL Director. Successful applicants will be notified before the commencement of the programme.  All Scholarship winners will be notified by mid-February.

The scholarships are focused on building capability and diversity and so applicants are asked how the scholarship will help reach Māori, Pasifika and female students. The application also asks how this scholarship will help build leadership capability in Digital Technologies for your school/community.

The scholarships are open to all those enrolling in EDEM626 Curriculum Implementation in Computer Science and can be applied for online here: https://signal.ac.nz/educate/educate-scholarship

We encourage you to start the UC Enrolment process as early as possible (and prior to announcement of scholarship awards as it can take some time to compile the require documentation).

If you have any questions,  please feel free to contact us at info@signal.ac.nz
