SIGNAL Christchurch's Techweek'18 events

SIGNAL and the Christchurch Women in Tech group are proud to host a Techweek'18 panel discussion, plus a screening of CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap on Tuesday May 22, 5.30 - 8.00pm at EPIC, Christchurch

Through compelling interviews, artistic animation and clever flashpoints in popular culture, the highly acclaimed CODE documentary examines the reasons why there is a lack of diversity in computer science and explores how cultural mindsets, stereotypes, educational hurdles and sexism all play roles in this international crisis. 

CODE aims to inspire a change in mindsets, in the educational system, in startup culture and in the way women see themselves in the field of coding.
