Kick-starting Innovation - Using Story Maps to define your Minimum Viable Product

Wednesday June 12, 2019

The Christchurch audience brought their crazy product ideas along, and learnt to tell if they were just crazy enough to work via a 3 hour intensive workshop. To do this, they used different techniques such as Story Mapping and the Lean Product Process to see if they could produce a product fit for market.

A minimum viable product  (MVP) is a development technique in which a new product or website is developed with sufficient features to satisfy early adopters. The final, complete set of features is only designed and developed after considering feedback from the product's initial users.

If you would like to learn more about this, please feel free to attend the Christchurch Product Management and Product Marketing Group Meetup. Their mission is to help businesses improve results through excellence in product management and marketing, and to help product management professionals network effectively and learn from each other.

Thanks to Tasneem and Ashley for sharing their vast knowledge!
