It's all go behind the scenes getting things in place for TW20, and we will share more as SIGNAL's Techweek events start taking shape. In the meantime, save these important dates:
Monday 18 to Sunday 24 May 2020
The intention behind Techweek is simple. New Zealand’s technology and innovation sectors are growing rapidly, and Techweek fosters that growth by providing the national ecosystem with a week-long opportunity for connection and cross-pollination, using an independent platform to amplify New Zealand’s unique and inspiring innovation stories to the world.
Sticking with the theme of ‘good for the world’. Techweek19 saw the growth of TechweekTV to daily live webcasts and the creation of the Techweek Schools Series.
- 562 events
- 28 locations
- Attended by more than 46,000 people
Looking ahead, Techweek20 will focus on ‘connecting our future’ by being recognised as the platform for everyone to meet, share ideas and create connections to enhance our future world.
Event submissions open Tuesday 28 January but it's never too early to start thinking about how you can get involved in this week-long celebration of tech.
If you or your organisation has some ideas for Techweek events, you can pop them into the Techweek Discovery Forum for your area. The Dunedin Techweek Coordinator is Lauren Saker, who would love to hear your event ideas. Drop her a line at firstname.lastname@example.org, or use the Discovery Forum link above.
Get involved and promote your local tech scene!
