What personal quality is going to drive your success?

Monday July 15, 2019

Do you really know what makes you tick?

When it comes to self-awareness we all have blind spots, but we also have bright spots, talents and strengths we don't quite see.

Researchers have found that people who are more self-aware make better choices, live better lives, have more successful careers and relationships*.

Whatever your role, understanding who you are, how you are seen, and how you fit in the world is going to significantly improve your work success. Our ability to collaborate, communicate, build relationships, influence others, and emotional intelligence abilities are influenced by our levels of self awareness.

People's levels of self-awareness is significantly improved through our XTEND programme. 'Review of Learning' in the XTEND programme, is an engaging self-appraisal process of your work practice. This is not an 'off the shelf' course; we start with you, what you know, what you want to learn, your career aspirations, your workplace requirements, and guidance on how to uncover the unknown gems of understanding.

Using experiences from your professional life as learning material, the course delivers substantial insights likely to make a lasting impact upon your personal and professional understanding.

It matters to become more self aware.

*Researchers have shown 95% of people believe they are self aware. In reality, 10-15% of people are self aware. Their research suggests 80% of us our lying to ourselves every day. In regards to self awareness, people are prevented from seeing themselves clearly. This mindset inhibits people from reaching their potential by failing to objectively form views based in reality about ourselves.
