Shift SHIFT Industry Projects

Industry benefits from student placements

Wednesday December 12, 2018

An integral component of the Shift programme is the 200-hour industry project.  Christchurch Shift students have worked on an array of projects, creating value for their host organisation,   including:

Host businesses were diverse, and our students had a choice regarding what style of organisation they would like to be involved with. These included fast growing start-ups, corporates, through to government agencies.  Our aim is to match talent and culture to ensure a great fit is achieved for both student and host.

Some of the organisations Signal Christchurch work with include: Plant and Food Research, Christchurch City Council, RCG Creations, Orbica, Orion Health and Cerebral Fix.

If your organisation has a project that would benefit from having a Shift student devote 200-hours to, then please contact us for more details.  We also have other project opportunities where teams of students can assist your organisation.

If you need project work completed, or are perhaps looking to hire, Signal runs a Speed meeting Event, where you get to meet the students face to face.  Please contact Lenore or phone 0800 990 024 for more information.
